Origin:
Bred by Pierre Oger (France, 1864).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Jaune d'Or'.

Bloom:
Golden-yellow, pink highlights.  Moderate, tea fragrance.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
