If there is anyone in the vicinity please contact me so we can talk ‘roses’. If any members are passing through, please get in touch with me. I will miss my Heritage Rose friends very much.

In the second space…. I planted ‘Joyce Edmonds’ A lifetime gardener and a tireless worker for Heritage Roses in Australia, Joyce is a very fitting person to have this lovely rose named after her. A sport of ‘Scarlet Queen Elizabeth’, it bears large many petalled coppery-pink blooms in great numbers on a sturdy bush. It was put on the market in 1992 by John Nieuwesteeg who grows such robust rose bushes in his outstanding nursery at Coldstream.
