Anne Poulsen... Bright crimson red. Large double fragrant flowers, The blooms are borne in clusters in the greatest profusion continuously through the entire season. The growth is strong and upright, breaking vigorously from the base.

Anne Poulsen is another Rose with a future before it. The flowers are red and are larger than the others of this type. The few blooms I picked kept very well.

Polyanthas. In this class there are some fine acquisitions. Anne Poulsen (Poulsen) is a large, clear red, semi-double bloom, somewhat after the style of 'Kirsten Poulsen'.

...and Anne Poulsen adds the element of fragrance, a quality hitherto wanting in the hybrid Polyanthas; but as yet we know little of its behaviour in the garden beyond that, in a trying year, it has looked well in the Trial Ground.

One more, before discussing British Roses, is Anne Mette Poulsen, which, to me, is the nicest of all the Poulsen Polyanthas. The bushy plants, of medium height, produce fragrant flowers of brilliant scarlet crimson in ample sprays. Let us have more colours of like quality.
