Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, 1937).
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 1958 as 'Cerise Bouquet'.
Class:
Climber, Hybrid Multibracteata, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red.  Mild fragrance.  up to 25 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, semi-double to double, flat bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Arching, climbing.  Small foliage.  

Height: 9'10" to 12' (300 to 365cm).  Width: 6' to 12' (185 to 365cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for garden or pillar.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Do not dead head.  Do not prune.  This rose blooms on old wood.
