Introduced in United Kingdom by Lee & Kennedy / Vineyard Nursery Hammersmith in 1813 as 'Sageleaf Moss Rose'.

Carmine-pink, ages to lilac .  Average diameter 1.5".  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Mossed buds.
