Origin:
Bred by Victor Hauser (Switzerland, 1933).
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, lighter center, mauve shading, ages to pink .  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Named after the 4th son of Victor Hauser. Bernard Hauser, grandson of the breeder informs that 'Francis' was listed in the catalogues of the Victor Hauser nursery until 1941, but was not included in the simple lists produced during World War II.
The attribution of this roses to Fauque is incorrect. 'Francis' entered the Loubert collection only after 2000.]
