Bred by Jacques Lebougre (France, before 1852).
Introduced in France by Désiré Thomas in 1852 as 'Baronne du Kermont'.
Class:
Hybrid China, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink, cerise shading, blush reverse.  Mild to strong, damask, sweet fragrance.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular, rounded bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Glossy, light green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
