Origin:
Bred by Jules Gravereaux (France, before 1906).
Introduced in France by Charles Pierre Marie Cochet-Cochet in 1906 as 'Monsieur Bienvêtu'.
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, darker highlights.  Very large, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:

Possibly also one of the seedlings Jules Gravereaux bought from Dr. Müller in 1901/02 and issued in his own name (both parents are Müller's cultivars).
