Bred by Dr. Keith W. Zary (United States, before 2004).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (post 1970) in 2006 as 'Tahitian Sunset'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.   (Series: New Generation Roses ® Collection)  
Bloom:
Apricot, pink edges.  Apricot yellow pink blend upper, same reverse.  Strong, anise, licorice fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 4.25".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Tall, upright, well-branched.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 5' to 6' (150 to 185cm).  Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Heat tolerant.  prefers full sun.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

No. 7,659)....Observations made from January 2005 to July 2006 from plants commencing at two years of age grown in a garden environment at Somis, Calif.
