Origin:
Introduced by Unknown in 1896 as ' Rosa caudata Baker'.
Bloom:
Rose-red. 5 petals. Average diameter 2". Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Leafy sepals buds.
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, spreading, upright. Small, matte, dark green foliage. 7 to 9 leaflets.
Height: up to 13'1" (up to 400cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
