White.  up to 5 petals.  Average diameter 1".  Small, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  

Lax, sends out runners.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 39" to 6'7" (100 to 200cm).  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Produces decorative hips.  shade tolerant.

The name R. luciae Rochebr. et Franch. ex Crép. var. hakonensis Franch. et Sav.) has been renamed to Rosa onoei Makino var. hakonensis (Franch. et Sav.) H. Ohba; R. jasminoides Koidz. is also the synonym of this rose.
