Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), before 1888).
Introduced in Luxembourg by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder in 1888 as 'Gruss an Wien'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Crimson and purple, violet shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Arching.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  
Patents:
