Bloom:
Dark red. None / no fragrance. 8 to 10 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, single to semi-double, cluster-flowered, in large clusters, ruffled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed buds.
Habit:
Tall, climbing, upright. Large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm). Width: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Can be used for garden or pillar. Hardy. can be trained as a climber. produces decorative hips. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
