Origin:
Bred by Ghys (France, before 1911).
Introduced in France by Eugene Turbat & Co. in 1911 as 'Crimson grandiflora'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora.  
Bloom:
Purple and red, white center.  80 to 100 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
