Eine der wichtigsten Erwerbungen in dieser Hinsicht schien der Thé Bourbon zu versprechen. Blendend weiß, mit grünlichem Herzen, mit der reichsten Fülle die regelmäßigsten Formen vereinigend, wurde er von Vandererg-Boom in Holland erzogen, 1828 um 300 Franken an den Grafen von Rouvroy und von diesem, zu 20 Exemplaren vermehrt, das Stück um 15 Franken, zum Vortheil einer Wohlthätigkeitsanstalt verkauft. One of the most important acquisitions in this respect seemed to be the Thé Bourbon. Dazzling white, with a greenish heart, uniting the most regular forms with the richest fullness, it was raised by Vandererg-Boom in Holland, sold in 1828 for 300 francs to the Count of Rouvroy and from him propagated to 20 copies , each for 15 francs, sold for the benefit of a charity. This had hardly happened, that was discovered that The Bourbon was identical to the Italian-born Belle Traversi, commonly referred to in German catalogs as Belladonna........it was discovered that The Bourbon was identical to the Italian Belle Traversi, which usually appears in German catalogs under the name Belladonna. Door de groote zorg , welke ik besteed aan dit voorzeker het schoonste der bloemengeslachten, vlei ik mij dat de aflevering nan de verwachting mijner begunstigers zal beantwoorden. De onderstaande, eenige uitgezonderd, worden afgeleverd tegen f 0,50 Cts. het stuk....Theeozen.... Bourbon.

Price list of Roses, from J. F. Bruynzeels, Florist in Prinsenhage (Province of North Braband). At the Flower Exhibition held in Dordrecht on July 23, 1847, my collection of Roses was awarded. Due to the great care I pay to this certainly the most beautiful of flower genera, I am flattered that the delivery will meet the expectations of my supporters. The following, with some exceptions, are delivered at f 0.50 Cts. the piece....Tea-Roses....  Bourbon.
