Bred by Pierre Hamon (France, 1825).
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink to carmine-pink, yellow undertones, ages to dark red .  Strong, tea fragrance.  Average diameter 2.75".  Medium to large, very double, globular, nodding or "weak neck" bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
