Introduced in France by Baumann frères in before 1829 as 'Aurore'.
Introduced in France by Cels frères in 1829 as 'Jaune Panaché'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, pink edges, yellow center, ages to light pink . [Light yellow.]  Edges striped lilac.  Mild, tea fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, spreading.  5 leaflets.  

Height: up to 12' (up to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
