Bred by Jacques Mouchotte (France, before 1988).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1993 as 'Paul Ricard'.
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1994 as 'Summer's Kiss'.
Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Amber.  Strong, anise, licorice, sweet fragrance.  45 petals.  Average diameter 3.75".  Medium-large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, rounded bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Medium, matte, medium green foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 5¼' (150 to 160cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  produces decorative hips.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
