White, near white or white blend Miniature. Registration name: Yukihime
Bloom:
White. Average diameter 1". Small to medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for container rose.
Breeder's notes:
This is a variety obtained in their effort to improve Rosa chinensis minima. (There is also a pink miniature rose ‘Sakura-hime’, another variety raised by the same breeders as an improved version of Rosa chinensis minima.) Flowers pure white, open quickly but last long; Bush very small. floriferous; Self- rooted bushes are sold in pots. Better to be placed in cool places. (Mr. Akira Ogawa, Miss Yuki Mikanagi, and Mr. Hironobu Mitomi, Japan)
