Discovered by Unknown American origin (United States, 1890).
Class:
Group 3, Late, Small-flowered, Species, Texensis-Viorna Group.  
Bloom:
Purple, white edges, cream anthers.  Cream inside.  4 petals.  Average diameter 0.75".  Small, single, bell-shaped, urn-shaped bloom form.  Early summer to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Plant in sun or partial shade.  Disease susceptibility: mildew.  This plant blooms on the current season's growth.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
