Discovered by Unknown in China (China, 1866). Discovered by Unknown(Japan) (Japan, 1866). Discovered by Unknown(Taiwan) (Taiwan, 1866).
Introduced by Ernest Wilson in 1900 as 'C. lasiandra Maxim.'.

Class:

Late, Small-flowered.

Bloom:

White. 4 petals. Average diameter 1". Bell-shaped, clusters, curved tip, nodding bloom form. Early summer to midautumn.

Habit:

Height: 10' to 20' (305 to 610cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Best in a sunny location. Plant in soil that drains well. In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
