Bred by Unknown Japanese Breeder(s) (Japan, before 1931).
Introduced in Japan by The Chugai Nursery in before 1940 as 'Yaezakura'.

Hybrid suffruticosa, Tree peony.

Bloom:

Rose-pink, lighter edges, ages to lighter . Semi-double, Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form. Midseason.

Habit:

Tall.

Height: 39" to 4'11" (100 to 150cm).
