Richard E. West. Hybrid Tea. (A. Dickson & Son, 1924.) Large ovoid buds and cupped, symmetrical flowers of light yellow, paling to lemon and lighter yellow; fragrant. Plant vigorous and free flowering.
A good garden variety with flowers of an exquisitely delicate shade of yellow and beautifully rounded. Visitors to our fields have been attracted to it at all times and we have heard only good reports from those who have grown it. Illustrated in color facing page 8. $2 each.

A. DICKSON a envoyé plusieurs roses nouvelles, parmi lesquelles il faut signaler Shot Silk et Richard E. West, pour leur très forte floraison d'automne. ....
Richard E. West est d'un blanc jaunâtre léger. Les pétales sont repliés sur les deux bords. Malheureusement les pédoncules paraissent faibles.

Richard E. West. Une splendide rose jaune très pleine, digne d'être exposée. Sa végétation est vigoureuse, avec de gros boutons parfumés et de belle couleur. Exposée par A. DICKSON and Sons, Newtownards.

Richard E. West (H.T.) (A. Dickson & Sons). A grand addition to the yellow shades in this section, being possessed of robust and vigorous growth and free branching habit; most continuous and free blooming, every shoot carries a flower bud which develops into a perfectly formed flower, with high pointed centre, the blooms are large and full, colour glowing cadmium yellow, paler on reflex. Delightfully fragrant. Certificate of Merit, National Rose Society Autumn show, 1923. 4/- each., Rich tea perfume, good clean foliage. Looks one of the best for this year.
