Introduced in Australia by Camden Park in 1843 as 'R. cinnamomea'.

Bloom:
Carmine-pink.  Mild, cinnamon fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Suckers on its own roots, upright.  Matte foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 6' to 6½' (185 to 200cm).  Width: 4' to 6½' (120 to 200cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4a through 9b.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant.
