'Rosa moyesii 'Fargesii'' rose Description

Bloom:
Carmine-red. Large, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.
Habit:
Arching, armed with thorns / prickles, spreading, upright. Matte foliage. 9 to 11 leaflets.
Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.

Notes:
The USDA GRIN taxonomy shows Rosa moyesii var. fargesii Rolfe as a synonym of Rosa moyesii Hemsl. & E.H.Wilson and, in particular, a cultivar of the species. This is not to be confused with Rosa fargesiana Boulenger.
