Introduced in Netherlands by Philipp von Siebold in 1844 as 'Ida'.
Introduced in Belgium by Établissement Horticole Joseph Baumann in 1850 as 'Ida'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by John Standish / Standish & Noble in 1855 as 'Ida'.

Hybrid suffruticosa.  
Bloom:
Light pink or cream, light yellow stripes.  Pink disk.  Double bloom form.
