Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet.  Strong, centifolia, old rose fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 5.25".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Medium, glossy, leathery foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 31" to 39" (80 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

See also Jackson & Perkins' other red Hybrid Tea of this name, bred by Eugene Boerner, and released after he died in 1966. The REFERENCES for both of these roses suggest that there were two roses sold under this name, although only Morey's rose was registered with the American Rose Society and patented.
