Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend. Magenta-lilac. Outer petal edges wavy. Reddish filaments. Smooth pedicel. Strong fragrance. up to 28 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered, open bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched. Large, leathery foliage.
Height: 30" to 4' (75 to 120cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
