Bred by Francis Gillot (France, 1924).
Introduced in France by Francis Gillot in 1930 as 'Soeur Thérèse'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Soeur Thérèse'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, deep yellow center, carmine-pink edges.  Outer petals striped carmine.  Mild, wild rose fragrance.  25 petals.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright.  Bronze-green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
