Bloom:
Dark purple - violet. [Dark purple, yellow stamens, ages to violet .]  Semi-double to double, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Bristly , few or no prickles/thorns.  Dark green foliage.
