Dark red, carmine-red shading, violet shading.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Mossed buds.  
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, suckers on its own roots, upright.  

Height: up to 4' (up to 120cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
