There are two roses named Canary Bird.

The Canary Bird in commerce is a hybrid of Rosa xanthina or Rosa hugonis.
Modern Roses confuses the two roses, showing Paul as the breeder of the Hybrid Xanthina, when Paul introduced the Sweet Briar.
