'Carefree Caroline™' rose Description

Bloom:
Orange-red. Pink and yellow. 8 to 10 petals. Semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, compact.
Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm). Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5a and warmer. Can be used for landscape.

The patent application specifies, "The new variety is a selection from the crossing of `Amanda` with a breeding variety of R. multiflora.times.`White Spray`" The parentage listed above includes two educated guesses: that the "Amanda" used is the Noack creation (several varieties are named "Amanda") and that the breeding variety of multiflora is R. multiflora adenochaeta, which was used by the breeder Louis Lens.
