Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, before 1930).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1930 as 'Urdh'.

Bloom:
Pink.  Strong fragrance.  45 petals.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Dense, upright.  Light green foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
