Miniature, Cl., Polyantha, Cl..  

Orange-red or russet, violet shading.  Moderate, apple, carnation fragrance.  25 to 45 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, semi-globular, spiral centers bloom form.  Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, rounded buds.  

Tall, narrow, upright, well-branched.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  

Height: 3' to 5'10" (90 to 180cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).

Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Very vigorous.  prefers full sun.  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.  

Listed as a tetraploid, as it is almost certainly so, given parentage. As is the case with most so-called "brown" roses, this one leans towards a rusty orange with a smoky overlay in hot weather, and deepens considerably to a dark rusty brown/russet in cooler months. At times it is very much like a miniature version of 'Jocelyn'.

This has a sister seedling, 58-06-05, which is more generous with flowers, more inclined to produce in clusters, and is a more consistently deep russet hue. See:
