Origin:
Bred by James A. Sproul (United States, before 2010).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 2013 as 'Eyeconic'.
Class:
Floribunda, Hybrid Hulthemia persica, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Orange to apricot, red center, ages to light pink ..  Flowers finish light pink with the red blotch turning to purple..  None / no fragrance.  8 to 12 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 4' (120cm).  Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6a through 9b.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , mildew resistant.

the parentage of the non-patented female parent (i.e., seed parent) can be summarized as follows: {`MORtoday`.times.[`Geisha`.times.(`KINbo`.times.`Macivy`)]}.times.`SPRoimpress`. The male parent (i.e., pollen parent) was the `Sprolych` variety (U.S. Plant patent application Ser, No. 13/998,618, filed Nov. 18, 2013). The `SPRoimpress` variety is the subject of U.S. Plant Pat. No. 21,708. The other ancestoral plants of the female parent are non-patented in the United States....The illustrated plant was approximately two years of age and was growing during September, 2011 outdoors on its own roots in the field at Wasco, Calif., U.S.A.
Notes:
Excellent performance in Western US, unfortunately not resistant to black spot, not recommended for the East, South, and Midwestern parts of the country.
