Origin:
Bred by Philippe-Victor Verdier (France, 1850).
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, purple shading.  Strong fragrance.  40 to 50 petals.  Very large, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, cupped, expanded bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, medium green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.
