Bred by J.-M. Gonod (France, 1877).
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red, ages to purple .  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
Very vigorous.
