Louise Dutarde was a niece of the breeder , daughter of Louise VETILLART DU RIBERT and Louis gabriel POITELON DU TARDE. She married Count De Lezay-Marnésia and was lady of the palace of Empress Joséphine, wife of Napoleon.

she is Louise Dutarde painted by Frédéric Winterhalter and I was wrong: it is not the Empress Joséphine but the Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III
