Bred by Unknown (before 1885).
Class:
Found Rose, Miscellaneous OGR, Species Cross.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink or red blend.  Mild to strong, sweet fragrance.  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  
Habit:
Glossy foliage.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
A hybrid rose whose ancestry includes some North American species rose. Re-introduced to commerce c. 1895 by Lady Leighton, whose family had grown this rose since the American Revolutionary War era.
