Breeder's notes:
This is the first seedling from a batch of open pollinated hips of Moondance. I was expecting a white bloom but was pleasantly surprised to find a light, peachy-apricot bloom on its first opening - although it does fade to a nearly white. It made its first bloom rather quickly so it will be interesting how quickly it reblooms. It was already sending up side branches before the first bud was even starting to open so I believe it will be rather quickly. The other thing about this seedling that really impressed me was the scent. I usually cannot detect much of a scent on the first bloom, but on this one I did. It is definitely sweet with a clove aspect to it. I would say that it was of a moderate intensity but am hoping this increases.

I do not usually expect much from open pollinated seedlings but I think this one is already showing some worthy attributes.
