Bloom:
Cerise, ages to crimson . Strong, lily of the valley, old rose, sweet fragrance. Average diameter 3.25". Very double, old-fashioned, rosette, ruffled bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green, wavy or ruffled foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden or shrub. Can be grown as a shrub. drought resistant. flowers drop off cleanly. heat tolerant. rain tolerant. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant, susceptible to Mildew.

Notes:
The seedling displays distinctive foliage with a color similar to that of the pollen parent. However, it is deeply serrated, with each leaflet's tip curving downward. This trait is not observed in either of the parent varieties.
C03-1's blooms tend to las long for a plant from a similar pedigree.
