As no dimensions are given for Bashful in HMF's opening page, when looking at this photo, I can't help but wonder if there are several plants in the picture or if it is just one plant that spreads. I am thinking of buying a plant from Euro Rose during their sale now in progress but my garden will not accomodate a spreading rose. An early reply will be appreciated.

It´s a correct question! There are 5 plants of ´Giesebrecht´ at this photo. But this roses (the series 7 dwarfs) are growing a little bit stronger than usual mini roses. A nice day!

Someone recently advised that while he's had Bashful for some time, it never grew larger than 1'-1.5' x 1'-1.5'. Does anyone know if this holds true for the rest of the roses in the Snow White and 7 Dwarf series, i.e Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy? And I suppose I should ask about Snow White, too.

I've heard varying stories concerning the mature sizes of the seven dwarfs (and the Grootendorst Snow White too, though it isn't really part of the series). I'm somewhat hesitant to say too much at this point since mine have only been in the ground for two years or less (prior to which they were in large pots in my quarantine area following importation from Europe). So far none is more than medium size compared to other polyanthas, but they could potentially grow larger with time. Time will tell.
