Your R. arvensis splendens is a semi-double similar to that sold in the Benelux, and different than Ayrshire Splendens sold elsewhere. Can you tell us where you have the rose from?

I got this plant many years ago from Mr Olav Vandeskog running the Plant Nursery Grønsfjord Staudegartneri at Grønsfjord near Lindesnes, the southernmost tip of Norway.I don`t know where he got it from. I have sometimes wondered myself about the shape of the flowers looking perhaps more like Adelaide d Orleans. However the plant itself as a whole is more corresponding to what I have read about Arvensis Splendens.
