I do not know whether the rose I photographed at Daniel Schmitz is correct; it was however labeled as 'Brian Rix'. As you know, colours may vary somewhat as a result of climate & soil.

Yes you are right. That is probably the reason. Like I said in the comments to this rose the first flowers that appeared were bigger but with the same grayish pink colour. The scent is right. I have also commented on the difference to the first uploaded photo which now seems to have been deleted for some reason or other. This was long the only uploaded photo of this rose. I don`t know why it has been withdrawn.

Probably the poster of the first photo came to the conclusion that the photo is incorrect after reading your comments.

Probably. As far as I can remember this photo may have been uploaded by the breeders or by some nursery for promoting purposes. It looked like some sort of a beautiful hybrid tea. Anyway I like the rose as it is, so I hope it will stay with me now. By the way I only have one hybrid tea in my garden (Dame de Coeur), and I don`t plan on planting more.
