Hi Lyn, they are about average for heat resistance. I can tell you the plant shuts down here when things get really hot. It's not a vigorous grower for me. I love the contrasting stamens and the fragrance is lovely.

Yes, the stamens remind me of 'Grace Seward' ... one of my favorite roses. Thank God the petal substance is thick enough to withstand my summer temps.

If you love 'Grace Seward' and want a tough vigorous rose with great fragrance and good heat/cold/wind resistance, get 'Golden Wings'. It's a trooper.
