I love this rose. Funky sepals *and* red filaments.

Thank you Susan! This has also impressed and pleased me greatly. At least in this climate, it is without disease issues, flowers fairly constantly, has very good scent and is a very useful parent both via seed and pollen. It has also demonstrated the ability to pass on the cresting, depending upon what it's mated with. This is one of the more promising seedlings generated last year using it as seed parent.

How interesting! I hope to see many offspring soon. Better yet, some for sale.

I'm hyperventilating over this one and Ralph Moore's Dawn Crest. Having trouble finding it though, but I'm determined.

Dawn Crest won't be offered by nurseries because of the request not to introduce it. You'll often find it through some of the rose society auctions here in Southern California as well as the annual sale at the Sacramento Historic Cemetery. Sometimes these sales are set up to allow for online bidding and sales. You might keep track of the cemetery activity by following this site.

http://www.cemeteryrose.org/

As well as watching the CCRS auctions and any other society sales.

Thanks Kim. I'll pursue that route.
