John, the rose on this photo looks very different than the one Amiroses photographed in your nursery. Is it so variable or do you have more than one type?

John's photo is reminding me of the Australian foundling "Mrs. Val Nash", syn "Rosehedge Cottage Pink" because of the bloom form and that white squat bud. Does this rose have prickly pedicels and purple new stems?

The rose is very variable like so many teas, in spring and Autumn it flowers like our picture for us but later in summer as things heat up the flowers are much more full. Yes it has glandular peduncles and the stems are purple and retain the colour for the first year. I think this rose is probably Grand Duc pierre de Russe by perny, the riviera roses from Perny and Nabonnand were very popular in Italy.
