Lovely images of 'Rosette Delizy'!
It's one that took a while to grow on me too but I admire it more and more. I love its robust good health and beautiful foliage. It is very generous with its bloom and rebloom - even by Tea standards - and the range of bloom colour and form is fascinating. Before I grew this rose, I had the impression it was rather garish in colour - that it lacked subtlety - but how wrong I was! It's true that the shades of red and yellow can be strong at times but that is just one of many, many faces.
'Rosette Delizy' is one of the most garden worthy of Teas in my garden (mild winters, hot, dry summers) and it surprises me that it's not better known and more widely grown.

Thanks for the kind words.
I too used to think RD was just another superficial two-tone. She really has some depth to her once she get a little maturity on her. Rarely without bloom and keeps going until the hard freezes hit.
I am glad I heeded the words of Jeri Jennings on the GW and got this one from ARE.

Love this gorgeous rose - the colors are so rich compared to most teas. And the bi-color teas are wonderful because it's like getting two roses in one - perfect for those who don't have room for lots of roses.
