Hi there Rosaholics. I'm surprised to hear that. I have Ebb Tide, which is in full flower right now and have seen Blackberry Nip plenty of times, including just 3 days ago, at a wholesale rose nursery, that had dozens of them in bloom (one of which I posted a pic of) and as soon as I saw those pics on here I thought "that's not Blackberry Nip". I could very well be mistaken, but any time I've seen BN it has seemed to have very few petals and the other photo's of it on here look like the ones I've seen, whereas the ones I commented on looked much more like Ebb Tide and looked very different from Blackberry Nip to me. As I said, though, I could very easily be mistaken. It's funny that you've commented on this, as earlier today I seriously spent about two hours going through all the photo's you've posted on here (several of which, especially the mauve/purple ones, I added to my "favourites" list), which were very impressive! I then tried to send you a PM (but wasn't able to), to ask you to comment on Plum Crazy (like how tall it gets, how prolific it is, whether the fragrance is strong, whether it handles the weather, etc), as I've seen that cultivar a couple of times at a local nursery recently, but had never heard of it. So if you could just comment on Plum Crazy please (either here, or on the "comments" section of Plum Crazy, so others can see what you say), that would be much appreciated. I love the mauve ones, like Charles De Gaulle, Vol De Nuit, Neptune (which I've just bought), Shocking Blue, Blue River, etc and if Plum Crazy sounds like it will suit our yard, I'll go back and see if they still have it, as I loved how it looked in your pics. Regards, Steve
